Article Says E-Books Cheaper to Produce

By Leslie

E-books offer an easier and cheaper way not just for consumers to buy books, but also for authors to publish them, according to the website Gizmodo.

The article “Five Reasons Why Best Selling Authors Are Going Direct,” says it costs less to have  e-books edited. It also takes less time for e-books to be published. It is more convenient for the writer to edit his or her work.  There is no need to reprint if there is an error; an author can simply go back to his/her electronically saved writing, edit it, and send it off again, making it easy to publish while wasting less paper.
